CHOLAS The biggest burlesque club in NWC's barrio district, owned and largely operated by the South Side Locos. The ladies here are just as dangerous as the men protecting them, possibly moreso if they get you alone. You'll get a good show, but watch your wallet and make sure you aren't touching anyone you haven't paid under the table for. |
DANS LE ROSE Dans Le Rose -- more often known simply as Le Rose -- is one of NWC’s premier burlesque clubs. Founded in 2160 by Lars Kent-Dancy, it’s been an important staple of NWC’s entertainment circuit for almost 50 years and shows no sign of becoming any less popular. Currently owned by brothers Hank and Harry Kent-Dancy, Le Rose is known for its exclusivity, customer loyalty, and incredible all-female burlesque troupe. |
THE ORCHID LOUNGE A complete dive. This is where college students who don't have much money go to hang out. It's just blocks away from where Georgetown has been rebuilt. Sometimes there is good talent, but that talent usually gets snatched up by a club with more money. |
PULSE Up-and-coming club that has only been open for five years. The always like an act with a pretty face but looks will only get you so far. The managers expect the best, they have to if they want to compete with the other bars. Don't expect to get a free feel under the table, they take protecting talent pretty seriously. |
THE QUEEN MARY Inspired by the English ocean liner, the nautically-themed Queen is the most famous—and most expensive—gay burlesque club in NWC. It features a regular lineup of all-male performers and is dedicated to preserving a certain old-school, camp sensibility. |
SINDROME COMING SOON. |
THE SNAKE PIT The Snake Pit is undeniably NWC's sleaziest burlesque club and many consider it to be nothing more than a glorified strip joint. Still, that's just part of the appeal. People who can't afford a visit to one of the swankier burlesque clubs will settle for The Snake Pit, because at least it's something. Currently owned by Snake Ratts (not a pseudonym, surprisingly) though Mr. Ratts spends less time at his own club than he does at an actual strip club a few blocks over. Not to be confused with Snare Pitch, a local bar. |
WHISPERS COMING SOON. |
