» RULES.
game rules.

» GENERAL TOMFOOLERY.
  1. Keep the drama out! We really shouldn't have to explain this. If you have a problem, be clear and up front about it. Being passive aggressive just makes people upset and perpetuates the problem. Vent about it to a friend, take it up with the player, or bring it to us--don't bring it into the game.
  2. Godmodding of others' characters will not be tolerated, and neither will plot pressuring. If you see someone being bullied into plot or their characters into doing something, please let us know immediately and we'll handle it.
  3. On a similar note, please consult with us before going through with any large plots, particularly that affect many people in the game, but more specifically, character deaths, pregnancies, marriages, and other things of the same nature.

» ACTIVITY.
  1. Characters should post--whether in a journal entry, log, or narrative--at least once every two weeks. After that, we'll send you a reminder. If we don't hear from you or your characters at all in a month, we'll send you a notification that you're on the verge of removal, and you'll have a week after that message to get back to us.
  2. Everyone takes hiatuses, so if you need some time away, just let us know! The same goes for leaving--we'd prefer if you told us outright that the game isn't working, rather than just falling off the face of the earth. We're cool people, and we understand!
  3. For now, our character limit is four. If you really can't keep all your concepts in your head, and you demonstrate that you can handle the four you already have, we'll grant additional spots on a case-by-case basis. Only one character from each "faction" is allotted per player, aside from civilians, which you can have as many of as you want as long as there is little or no overlap! Also, no more than one character from another nebula per player.

» TECHNICALITIES.
  1. Everyone has a high-tech hand-held device at this point, and with that comes a multitude of possibilities! This includes video blogging/chatting, holographic projections, and other marvels of communication, in addition to the old stand-bys of email and SMS. Journals should be in a first-person blog format.
  2. While we don't have a list of banned PBs or any specific criteria, we reserve the right to veto anyone we don't think fits with the character or the game. Just use common sense!
  3. When filtering, please simply state the message recipient's name in the comment field or indicate it somehow within the entry. Filters can be made to recognized groups and individuals (the filters are not intuitive).
  4. On the picky end of things, but please only use 100x100 unbordered icons, for the sake of our own OCD tendencies.
